Often the most enjoyable
Shareware and freeware Mac games are often the most enjoyable. You can find a lifetime’s worth of them at MacGamesAndMore(dot)com. This site is dedicated to supporting independent game developers, who often release their products as shareware. Judging from the quality of the games it’s a good idea. For sheer fun and replayability Maui wowee for Mac and Chuzzle for Mac get high marks.
As soon as I saw Maui wowee’s level editor I went for it. I love playing my own levels and showing them off to my friends! Putting your own music on is great too. With Chuzzle it’s the four different game modes that I love. For relaxation there’s Zen. Speed is for frenetic game play and when in the mood for a challenge I play Mind Bender mode. I’m definitely coming back for more.
